!!!! ALL IN ONE INTRUCTIONS FOR BATTLEFIELD VIETNAM !!!!
----> DOWNLOAD ALL THE PATCHES LISTED BELOW FROM MY DROPBOX

----> INSTALL BATTLEFIELD VIETNAM
NOTE: WW2 Mod must be installed after v1.1 and then continue with patches
So the order is this...
STEP 1...
Install a fresh copy of Battlefield Vietnam
STEP 2...
RUN "battlefield_vietnam_patch_v1[1].1.14.exe"
STEP 3...
RUN "battlefield_vietnam_ww2_mod.exe"
STEP 4...
RUN "bfv_incremental_v1_1tov1_2.exe"
STEP 5...
RUN "battlefield_vietnam_incremental_patch_v1.2_to_v1.21.exe"
----> INSTALL THE NO-CD PATCH
STEP 1...
UNRAR BFV-1.21-nocd.rar to your desktop
This should create a folder on your desktop called "BFV-1.21-nocd"
STEP 2...
Copy the 3 files root files...
\BFV-1.21-nocd\BfVietnam.exe
\BFV-1.21-nocd\BfVietnam.org
\BFV-1.21-nocd\Setup.ini
To the BFV root install directory e.g.
<drive location>\Battlefield Vietnam\
Overwrite the files (if you want to make backups first, add an extension .backup)
STEP 3...
Copy the the file
\BFV-1.21-nocd\\Mods\BfVietnam\Mod.dll" into both BFV and BFVWW2 mod directories
<drive location>\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\
<drive location>\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BFV_WW2Mod\
----> SET COMPATIBILITY MODE TO LISTEN TO MUSIC
STEP 1...
Set the main BFVEITNAM.EXE compatibility mode to "NT Service Pack 5"
STEP 2...
Ensure it runs in Administrator mode (check the option)
STEP 3...
You need to do this in order to...
i. Play music while in vehicles
ii. Play the game in widescreen (see next section), if not the settings are ignored.
----> SETUP WIDESCREEN
STEP 1...
1) Open file...
\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\settings\Profiles\Custom\video.con
2) Add line...[OR BASED ON YOUR MONITOR RESOLUTION, MINE IS 1080p]
game.setGameDisplayMode 1920 1080 32 0
if thats you resolution
3) Save
4) Set the file to readonly
STEP 2...
1) Open file...
\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\settings\VideoDefault.con
2) Add line...
renderer.fieldOfView 1.33333 (for 16/9 monitors)
3) Save
4) Set the file to readonly
